Description:A list that contains one base class and/or one or more base interfaces. An interface can only derive from base interfaces whereas a class can derive from one base class and several base interfaces.
Syntax:
For a class: 
[attributes] [modifiers] class identifier [:base-list] { class-body }[;]
For an interface: 
[attributes] [modifiers] interface identifier [:base-list] {interface-body}[;]
