Description:An identifier is simply another word for name. A name or title you give an entity in code is considered its identifier. All identifiers in C# must conform to Unicode 3.0 standard, Technical Report 15, Annex 7 (http://www.unicode.org/reports/tr15/), except that underscore is allowed as an initial character. As a matter of fact, an underscore can appear anywhere in an identifier.
Example(s):public int myNum1 = 1; // the identifier is myNum public int _nyNum = 2; // _nyNum is the identifier public int _ = 3; // _ is the identifier goto myLabel; myLabel: { } // myLabel is the identifier
