Let me develop performance, scalable and intuitive enterprise-scale applications for you using the Microsft .Net Framework!

I'm an experienced software developer and database administrator (DBA). I specialize in developing scalable and high-performance data-eccentric enterprise applications using the Microsoft .Net framework. I develop all applications using the new C# language.

To prove I can develop successful applications I have authored a few of which I have avaiable here for download and is yours to use free of charge (note: I built the following applications using a licensed and full-owned version of Visual Studio.NET, Enterprise Edition.

MTG UpTime

This utility is designed to let you monitor TCP-enabled devices at regular intervals to ensure they are online. When a device does not respond to a TCP request you can be notified via e-mail that this condition has occured. Or, you can have the results logged to a log file.

This is a valuable tool IT departments can use to ensure minimal down-time by monitoring routers, switches, computers or any other device that communicated using the TCP/IP protocol (which is about 96% of all hardware out there). For many IT departments it is mission critical that servers and routers be up and running at all or most of the time. Many times these IT departments do not know about a device being down until they start their work shift. This can become unacceptable and immediate action may be necessary to respond to such events. MTG UpTime helps to resolve the issue.

MTG UpTime can monitor web sites from any computer connected to the Inernet. If you have a web site that you want to monitor you can do so by installing MTG UpTime on an Internet-connected computer from anywhere. Then, if the web site goes down you can be notified of such an event. Here is a snapshot example of the form that let's you define devices (devices can be routers, computers, etc.):
